Why Tournament 2 (Afternoon) FULL

JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the leading charitable funder and advocate of Juvenile (Type 1) diabetes research worldwide, was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with juvenile diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is a disease which strikes suddenly and makes people become insulin-dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. More then 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education.

The Denver JDRF Charity Volleyball Tournament was founded 5 years ago by Lisa and Gary Patton, who's daughter Hannah is a Type 1 diabetic. The tournament, affectionately known as, Hannah's Hero's raises funds to support the efforts to find a cure for this chronic illness.

Please join us in supporting this charitable event through your donations, your participation in the tournament or your participation in the silent auction. We thank you in advance for your support of this great cause.

Yours Truely,

Sheri Frazier-Kesner,

Lisa and Gary Patton
